YMCA Burton were recently invited to a game at Burton Rugby Club which was sponsored by local businesses Else Solicitors, Knott-Avonride, Alexander Accountancy and Abode Estate Agents.
Else Solicitors have been sponsoring a game per season at the Rugby club for the last 19 years but this was their first one at the new Tatenhill ground since it moved from Peel Croft.
Each sponsor donated raffle prizes to support YMCA Burton and raised an incredible £400 which will go towards helping people in the local community.
Paula Senior, Fundraising and Partnerships Manager at YMCA Burton said: “What a great way to have fun with friends and colleagues whilst raising money for Charity – it was even better as Burton won the match too!”
