SCVYS hosts the Pan Staffordshire PSHE Service which is funded by Staffordshire’s Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner. The Service aims to support and enhance the quality and consistency of PSHE Education delivery across settings and has additional outcomes, including strengthening connections between formal education settings such as schools and informal settings such as local youth organisations. A Voice for the Sector
SCVYS is the County Council’s VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise) Strategic Partner in relation to the local Children, Young People and Families Sector. We represent local organisations who work with children, young people and families, seeking to influence the way services are delivered, creating opportunities for the sector to be involved and promoting them where they already are contributing. We also try to connect up the different parts of the local support system for children, young people and families through effective partnership working.
