Staffordshire Police, Fire and Rescue and Crime Commissioner are working with Cordis Bright, an independent research organisation (for more detail, please see www.cordisbright.co.uk) to conduct a needs assessment of children, young people and adults aged 10 up to 25 years with complex needs.

A key part of the needs assessment is producing case studies of children, young people and young adults who have complex needs. This means people who are facing challenges that are multiple and persistent and severe and framed by family and social contexts. The needs assessment is particularly focused on those in the target cohort who are involved in, or at risk of involvement in, serious violence (as a victim or perpetrator). Cordis Bright want to understand their experiences, what worked best for them and what could be improved. They are also keen to talk to a parent/carer (where appropriate) and also consult with professionals who are working with them to get their perspective.

Are there any children, young people or young adults who meet this brief and who you think might be willing to be involved in a case study?

If this is something you think you can help with please contact Suzie, the project manager from Cordis Bright on suzielangdonshreeve@cordisbright.co.uk
